Q: Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped from our store in BC, Canada.

For Canadian orders, GST/HST and PST are applicable based on your province or territory.

For US and International orders, international taxes, customs, and duties, if any, are paid by the customers to their post offices or couriers when they receive their orders.


Q: What is the shipping cost?

A flat rate of $14.99 (CAD) applies for each shipment** within Canada and to the US. (For some oversized items, product description may specify additional S&H fee.)

For international shipping to countries other than Canada and the United States, shipping rates are usually much higher as they are calculated according to the size and the weight of the order. Please also be aware that for international pre-orders, shipping costs are not invoiced until order is ready for shipment. You are encouraged to contact us to get a shipping quote before placing an international order. 

For in-stock purchases, customers will be paying for the shipping at checkout.

For pre-order and backordered purchases, when your item(s) arrives at our store, we will send you an item arrival notification email instructing you to make the shipping payment.

** We reserve the right to ship your order(s) in multiple shipments if your order(s) exceeds the dimensions of our shipping boxes. Flat-rate shipping fees apply to each additional shipment. 

 

 

Q: Can I pick up my online orders in-store to avoid the shipping fees?

Yes, customers can pick up online orders at our store in Vancouver, BC. To do so, please select "Pickup" for the Delivery Method at checkout. When your order is ready for pickup, we will send you an notification email with the pickup instructions.

 

Q: Is my package insured for damages or loss? 

Standard shipping options do not include shipping insurance. However, you may choose to purchase shipping insurance at checkout for items valued at up to $400 CAD in total (Coverage for item damages & loss occurred during transit only. Parcel thefts and damaged packagings are not covered). You may also choose to purchase additional insurance on your own.

Please note that damaged or lost packages are the responsibility of shipping carriers. Since we have no control over how carriers handle your packages once leave our facility, Hobby Bee Canada cannot be held responsible for damages or loss incurred during shipment.
