Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped from our store in Vancouver, BC, Canada. International customers are responsible for any customs, duties, or taxes charged at delivery.

What is the shipping cost and when do I pay?

Shipping is $14.99 CAD within Canada and the continental U.S. For pre-orders, shipping is invoiced separately once the items arrive at our store.

Can I pick up my online orders in-store to avoid shipping fees?

Yes. Select “Pickup” during checkout. We’ll notify you by email when your order is ready—usually within 24 hours.

Why should I pre-order an item?

Pre-ordering secures your item before release, especially for popular or limited products. You’ll also receive a 10% Early Bee Discount if you pay in full before the pre-order deadline.

How does the Private Warehouse work?

Our Private Warehouse lets you store items for free (60–90 days) and combine them into one shipment to save on shipping fees. Select the Private Warehouse option during checkout.

Shipping Policy

We offer multiple shipping options based on your order type and destination. Please review the details below to understand our shipping practices.

1. Shipping for In-Stock Orders (Canada & Contiguous U.S.)

Standard Shipping: Flat rate of $14.99 CAD per shipment.
Expedited Shipping: Available at checkout for $24.99 CAD.
Free Shipping Promotion:
- Available on in-stock orders over $300 CAD.
- Enter promo code FREESHIP300 at checkout.
- This code is not applied automatically.
- Cannot be combined with other promo codes or coupons.
- Applies per individual order. Multiple orders cannot be combined to reach the threshold.

2. Shipping for Pre-Orders

Pre-orders are items scheduled to be released at a future date.
Shipping fees are not charged at checkout.
A separate shipping invoice will be sent when your pre-ordered item arrives at our store, allowing you to choose between shipping or store pickup.
If your order includes both pre-orders and in-stock items, the in-stock items ship first.

3. Shipping for Backorders

Backorders are temporarily out-of-stock items expected to restock soon.
Shipping fees are not charged at checkout.
A separate shipping invoice will be sent once your backordered item becomes available, allowing you to choose between shipping or store pickup.
If your order contains both backordered and in-stock items, the entire order will ship once the backordered item arrives, unless you contact us at info@hobby-bee.com to request separate shipments.

4. Private Warehouse Option

Select “Add In-Stock Items to Private Warehouse” at checkout to store your items for later shipping.
Items are stored for up to 60 days at no additional cost (90 days for Gold Tier Members). After the free storage period, a storage fee of $2 CAD per item per month will apply.
Shipping will not be charged at checkout. A separate shipping invoice will be sent, payable when you're ready to ship.
Pre-orders and backorders will automatically be added to your Private Warehouse upon arrival.
You may use this option to combine multiple orders into one shipment.
Note: Orders cannot be combined to reach the $300 minimum for free shipping.

5. Free In-Store Pickup (Vancouver)

Pickup is available at our Vancouver location.
Select “Store Pickup” at checkout and bring your order confirmation.
Pre-orders and backorders are eligible for pickup when they arrive; you'll receive an email notification.

6. International Shipping

For shipping outside Canada and the contiguous U.S., contact us at info@hobby-bee.com for a shipping quote and delivery estimate.
A custom shipping invoice will be provided based on your location and available shipping options.
