ROBO-DOU Tekkaman Blade is a collectible figure based on the anime series Tekkaman Blade, produced by Tatsunoko Productions that aired in 1992. The figure is fully-articulated, replicating its original design from the anime while accentuating its mechanical details.
ROBO-DOU Tekkaman Blade is approximately 20cm (7.8”) tall, and utilizes a die-cast interior frame that provides 74 points of articulation. It is constructed of ABS, PVC, POM and zinc alloy, providing a tactile durability as well as foundation for maintaining balance. LED light-up features are installed in the eyes, forehead, and the Voltekka shooting ports at both shoulders.
For the weapons, the figure includes a double-ended lance “Tekk Lancer,” a “Tekk Shield,” and a whip-like “Tekk Wire.” The Tekk Lancer can be separated into two blades. The Tekk Shield can be mounted on either the hip or on the left forearm. The Tekk Wire has metal wire inside, which makes it bendable and poseable, and can also be attached to the Tekk Shield. The fins at both sides of the ribs are interchangeable between closed and opened forms. Additional accessories include one Crystal which is used in the anime for transforming into Tekkaman, two interchangeable hip covers (one piece with a ball joint for attaching shield, one piece without a ball joint), three pieces of interchangeable left forearm covers (one piece with a ball joint on the side for attaching shield, one piece with a ball joint on the back for attaching shield, and one piece without a ball joint), and five sets of interchangeable hands (one pair of fists, one pair of weapon-holding hands, one pair of action pose hands, one pair of spear hands, and one left hand for holding the Crystal).
